Your in disbelief because you think youve FINALLY FOUND Axis & Allies the arcade game...
... BUT YOU HAVE NOT!!!
It looks a lot like it, and the sad part is, these developers believe that they are actually giving you Axis & Allies... THEY ARE NOT!
I just wasted $4 and I really feel like I was just robbed or scammed.
So here is what you are actually looking to buy here:
1) If you want to play A&A by yourself thinking there is A.I. to play against... NO, besides nobody in the world offers that on mobile for anything relatively close to A&A... The only game that comes close is made by "Herocraft" called world war 2 something or other. That plays well but even that aint that good cuz your limited to 12 units total per territory, which is dumb.
2) If you are hoping to play other people, I hope you have friends that like to pass your device around to do that, but thats only if you are fine with a pre-setup board! With limited functionality coupled with complex functionality that IS there. Youre gonna get annoyed and frustrated really fast.
3) The actual Axis & Allies is a very complex game with a really thick rule book... How much authenticity would you expect out of a mobile game? The conversion into a mobile game needs a very elaborate user interface. Whatever you wanna call this, doesnt have that.
LASTLY) IF, you want to play other people online, you have to register an account with an email yadda-yadda then I hope you have friends who all wanna play this too who are willing to tolerate that you lied to them by telling them you can play A&A on a mobile device because "this" is far from it. Its just too difficult to get passed the user interface from something that wants you to believe your playing A&A.
It really looks like a rushed product that was not thought through very well by people who have never played the actual game before.
Dont believe me? Read their description thoroughly! Look for what they legally call this game about how vague they describe stuff... Maybe this review will force them to update all that.
